The following are ministries that volunteer as part of keeping the church standing strong and sustainable well into the future. Each ministry is always in need of new passionate volunteers eager to enrich the ministry with their gifts.
ACOLYTES
Being an acolyte gives a layperson the chance to play an important role in worship, actively assisting the priest in the celebration of the Eucharist.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is composed of a group of dedicated members of all ages who work to prepare for all Eucharistic services.
BOOKS AT NOON
Each month, Books at Noon explores a new book, ranging from contemporary fiction to historical page-turners.
BROTHERHOOD OF ST. ANDREW
Provides male camaraderie in a spiritual environment. It is a missionary and evangelism ministry of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion.
CENTERING PRAYER
A type of contemplative prayer based on ancient Christian wisdom teachings, facilitates a relationship with God.
children & youth
Christian Formation for children and youth is a vital part of our mission as a church. St. Paul’s by the Sea recognizes the home as a primary place of faith formation and seeks to support spiritual growth within the family.
