EfM

The Education for Ministry Program at St. Paul’s by the Sea is a distance learning certificate program from the University of Sewanee.

Our EFM Group meets weekly for 36 weeks for four years. Based on small group study and practice, the depth of Christian tradition is brought into study and conversation through the exploration of Hebrew Scripture, New Testament, Church History, Theology, Worship, and Reflection. 

What makes EfM different from a Bible Study is the Theological Reflections, an exercise that connects the study of scripture and our daily lives.

There are openings for the new class that meets from 6-7:30 pm on Thursdays beginning in September.
