CHILDREN, YOUTH, FAMILIES

Christian Formation for children and youth is a vital part of our mission as a church. St. Paul’s by the Sea recognizes the home as a primary place of faith formation and seeks to support spiritual growth within the family. We also provide opportunities for our children, youth, and their families to grow in the faith, deepen their sense of community, and make a difference in the world as part of the wider congregation.

The success of our St. Paul’s Youth (SPY) program is only made possible with volunteers. To get involved, please contact Martha Milton.

NURSERY & CHILDREN’S SERMONS

Nursery

Childcare is provided for children up to three years old during worship and select special events. On Sunday mornings, childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am

Children’s Sermons

Our Children begin worship at the 10:00 liturgy in the church. After the readings, they gather together to hear a children’s sermon from our clergy. They then process out of the church for Sunday School and return at the Peace.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

We welcome kindergarteners through 6th grade to join us for Sunday School each week. In Sunday School, your child will have the opportunity to dive deep into the Word of God, ask questions about their Faith walks, fall in love with the person of Jesus, and spend time with their friends in a safe and loving environment.
