Absent: Clark Castle, Harley Henry, Steve Hinton
Minutes from January meeting were read and approved as is.
Rector's Report
Penny reported the sexton must live on church property.
Beaches Episcopal School Report
Report is attached.
Senior Warden's Report (Tom Schifanella)
Discussed the strategic plan for the church. Vestry members will review the five disciplines during the next month and report their preferences to Tom or Penny. Harley has agreed to be in charge of stewardship.
Junior Warden's Report (Mike Rady)
Discussed feasibility study for a ramp to the chapel.
Old Business
Discussed handicap door access possibility. There is money available from a memorial for Ruth St. George.
Look into retreat at Camp Weed.
Charlie Grinstead to replace Bob Hall on school board. Motion put before Vestry by Mary Edwards and seconded by Tom Schifanella.
New Business
Kristin Whitmire to make a list of accomplishments for the past 2 years.
Making a video for church.
BFAS has asked us to sponsor its Wounded Warrior's Triathlon. We hope to sponsor 10 athletes. Penny will look into the cost.
Vestry Thanksgiving and Appreciation
Brotherhood for the breakfast and lunch for the vestry retreat.
